Vintage 1968 Johnny Sol Tailor Japanese Bespoke Army Green Blazer. Hand designed and created in Kanagawa Japan for SFC Edmund Emmit Murphy, who was originally from Rhode Island but was stationed and married his seamstress wife Satsuko in Kanagawa in 1956, between the Korean and Vietnam wars. SFC Murphy served in both the Korean and Vietnam wars, and after retiring in 1972 moved his family to Warwick, RI. Handknit patches were original to the time period and likely knit and stitched on by Satsuko. Several internal pockets, all original buttons including replacements. Amazing quality!
